To me, capturing portraits is perhaps one of the most enriching experiences in life, a simple and honest depiction of life at its finest. I believe that every subject is special and deserves to be captured in pictures that can be treasured forever. As a portrait photographer, each subject poses a different kind of challenge and overcoming that challenge makes me a better photographer, one click at a time.I believe that a camera viewfinder is a narrator of stories, all kinds of stories – some that seem small and insignificant, some that can change lives in a flash, some happy and some sad.
I have always had a certain penchant for portraits and their ability to lay bare the deepest of emotions.
So I am always on a quest to capture candid moments that define personalities, whether it’s the personality of an innocent child at a playground or at a birthday party, a young woman expecting a child or one that has just experienced the miracle of birth, or even the personality of a young happy family. I endeavor to capture that special sparkle in each of my subjects, savor life and create memories that can last forever, in your hearts and on your walls.
As the famous French poet Marc Riboud once said, “Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”
It is through capturing your special moments that I wish to enrich lives, yours and mine.
